I loved this book. I read it twice and cried at the end. I'm now reading it again to do a school report on it. It was sad but really enjoyable, but ive heard and read that hollywood {messed} up the film and made it seem like it was for kids and that it has a {poor} storyline..buts the book is brill so read it before you see the movie !

Re: A Walk to Remember

I actually saw the movie before I read the book. The book is so good and the movie is just as good in my opinion. I know a lot of people didn't think the movie served the book justice; I think they just tried to sort of "update" it to appeal to today's youth. The movie still gives the same message as does the book, but just so today's youth can relate to it. You have to admit, you're not necessarily a "bad boy" by today's standards for eating peanuts in a graveyard at night.
