The Scandalous Summer of Sissy Leblanc

This is a humorous/poignant story about a love that spans a lifetime. I could really relate to the story, because the mistakes made by the main characters are just the same mistakes we all make in everyday life. All the childhood lies, deceit, and game-playing that Sissy did come back to haunt her when she finds herself married to a man that she does not love in order to escape an abortion. The hook? It's not even his baby, and the reader will be extremely surprised to find out who the father really is! I loved this - it is the story of so many lives.
