The Pearl

Hi guys! Right now in school we're reading the Pearl.. its by John Steinbeck. It's okay so far, the only thing is that it takes like 2 pages saying what the scenery is like in every chapter.. Anna, I know you said it gets better, so I hope you're right. Okay, comment please!

Lol, the Pearl..ahh, i was wrong. I too, am reading it, and the second time round is not pleasant, at all. Even though i am a fan of Steinbeck, The Pearl is for those die hard Steinbeckers..unlike me. -Abby
