Expanding a partition -adding a hard drive
Documentation Posted by Understudy on Friday April 26, @05:20PM
from the from the been there done that dept.

What do you do when you hard drive has maxed out on a FreeBSD box. Well I decided to add a second one. Figuring this would be no problem. I would just use it to add to my directories. Well it just isn't that simple.

And since it was so much fun I decided I would share my experience with you.

Just adding a hard drive and doing an Fdisk and adding a directory doesn't cut it. Can you just smell the stink of my windoze background. I am slowly easing my way off windoze. As I have been doing so I have been making notes on similarities and differences between the two. I think this is my best documented one.
