You do not need to do anything with a dynamic ip change if you have the ppp.conf setup as shown.
# adds a default route to the ip isp gives you
add default HISADDR

in your rc.conf
ifconfig_x10="media 10BaseT/UTP mtu 1492"

I need those settings for mine with bellsouth, your may vary slightly. Remember xl0 is my nic identifier yours may be different.
