Re: HOWTO set up PPPoE (ADSL)
by DIGI_Byte on Monday September 21, @05:44AM
Hey I know this maybe out dated but I have a network router that supports PPPoE and I'm just want to make sure I have everything right when i setup this internet connection. I have my user name and password, No IP required, (ADSL connection) I want to make sure I get everything right before I hook things together, Do I use a standard phone cable to join the Phone port (with splitter) to the WAN port in my router even though they don't fit? Or do I use a CAT cable from the WAN to the Phone port? If not do I have to buy some sort of adapter or something? I have an ASUS WL-520Gc 125m
