HOWTO: Wireless with Authentication
Networking and Connectivity Posted by Understudy on Saturday June 07, @08:15PM
from the man eating venus flytraps dept.
A well written paper on on Wireless networks and authentication was written by Randal. I found it while reading Slashdot. I was so impressed that I asked if I Randal if I could post links to it here.
Randal responded to my email and said yes. Some notes here. This is not a standard newbie paper. It assumes you have some knowledge of computers, routers and WiFi and FreeBSD. However if you have a decent understanding of those. And you want a wireless network that has some well setup protocols. Please read this. Remember Randal wrote this not me so credit where it is due. The article can be viewed as either HTML, PDF or go to his mirror. Also Randal responed to many of the items brought up in his post on slashdot so I also recommend reading that with the comments. And thank you Randal.
